Creating an eBook Cover for Free
What’s the best way to create an eBook cover for free?
Yup, that’s it.
Another free easy-to-use eBook creation tool.
And this is probably going to be the best cover creator you’ll find to design on your own.
They have ready-to-use templates and you just drag and drop.
There’s a pretty good selection for free or you can upload your own images.
And they have a wider variety of designs in the paid version of Canva.
Creating an eBook Cover
Head to Canva.
You may need to sign up if you don’t have an account, but signing up is free.
There are 2 ways this can be done.
The first way is to click on “create a design” in the top right corner.
And a drop-down menu will appear, then below the drop-down menu click “custom size”
When you click on custom size, the custom size box will open, for the width enter 625 and for height enter 1000, leave it on “px”. This is the size needed for your eBook cover.
The second way is to click on “custom size” under the create a design tab.
A box will open for the custom size and click “create a new design”.
Either one you click is going to take you to the designer.
And create your eBook cover.
When the eBook cover is done, in the top right corner, click share.
A drop-down menu will appear and then click download.
Once you click download, a file type box will open, change the PNG to JPEG (recommended by Amazon).
Once it is changed to JPEG, the download file type box will open, and check that everything is correct.
Then click download.
Save your eBook cover file.
And you’re done, you’ve used one of the simplest easiest free tools to create your eBook cover.
You can’t get any easier than that.
